True Bliss by BJ Harvey was a beautiful addition to the Bliss Series. A woman trying to find her prince, and a man trying to find his princess. Kate and Zander were characters that I fell in love with in Temporary Bliss, and I'm so glad they got their own Happily Ever After.
"I want true, total body mind and soul, bliss."
Now that her best friend has found her other half, Kate is desperate to find that kind of love. She wants the kind of love that you read about in romance novels, or the heart pounding love that you see in those sappy romantic movies. Kate implements the "three date rule." No sex until after the third date. How does one stay true to this rule when there are incredibly good looking men like Zander hanging around. She has also gone as far as signing up for internet dating, which is something she would totally not do, but she is sick of this feeling, this feeling that she will never find her Prince Charming.
Who could forget Zander? If you read the first book, Temporary Bliss, you know him as the über sexy stripper and one of Mac's friend's with benefits. If you fell in love with him before, you will absolutely adore him in True Bliss. We learn so much more about him, and the way he is with his sisters, put a huge smile on my face and warmth in my heart. We dive inside his head and experience his struggles and his growing love for a certain "firebird." Will that one night he walked away from Kate be his biggest regret? The more he sees her, the more he wants her and the harder it is to be a gentlemen around her.
True Bliss was a funny, sexy, and just an all around great love story that everyone can enjoy. There was just enough spice, there was just enough romance. Nothing was overdone and the characters were delightful. And to those "Superman" fans, don't you worry there is plenty more Mac and Daniel to go around in True Bliss. At the end of the book we get to be a part of something special with these two and it was beautiful to read.
